Is she ever off her damn food strike? You're gettin' noodles and something, and the something is for us. I can't believe that damn brat will eat natto, but not vegetables.

Why the fuck are kids the way they are?

[His hands only stall momentarily in the irritation. When they pick back up, there's double the focus. He's already worked Midoriya's head from green to pure, frothy white.] Head back. [He pulls away, twisting so he can run his hands through the water and free it of shampoo.

The head comes off the wall, and he stretches it back over, smoothing a wide and strong hand up Midoriya's neck and under the jaws, making sure the head is kept back before he starts.] We should've just taken a bath as long as it's taking us to fucking do this. [Actually, it doesn't sound like much of a complaint?

He pours the water from Midoriya's hairline toward the crown, taking his hand from Midoriya's throat so he can use it to barricade water from rolling down the temples into the eyes.]

[ She's their kid but he likes to teasingly blame her bad habits on him. That's absolutely not going to come back and bite him when they have another that's his.

Obedient for once in his life, Midoriya tilts his head and shifts his weight where instructed, leaning into the water so the suds wash down out of his eyes as quickly as possible. His hands can't stay still for long; he's never been good at staying still. One slides over the back of Bakugou's thigh, stroking the thick muscle there and the other curves over the jut of his hip, holding him while his hair is rinsed the rest of the way. ]

That's the fun of mornings off, right? Nothing to do until she's out of school which means a shower longer than three minutes. Kinda nice. [ A pause, and a deliberate up-down with the effect only slightly ruined by wet curls falling into his eyes. ] The view is really nice, too.
