One hand rises, and the palm settles on the wall by Midoriya’s head. There is one small, final pause, and then no hesitation whatsoever. He commits to the act without retreat.
Bending around, he dips his head down and, surprisingly, kisses Midoriya right on the lips.]
[ He's bracing to be yelled at. He's going to say the wrong thing and Bakugou is going to blow up on him because Midoriya can have years of experience talking with him but it means jack shit; somehow, half the time it's always wrong. Worse: why? Bakugou's stopped being needlessly cruel so Midoriya doesn't think this is something just to spite him, but he doesn't know and it's killing him. Gently, he lifts a hand and places it at the center of Bakugou's chest, fisting in his shirt to hold him in case he decides to run. He's pulling back, though there's not far to go and his voice is quiet, low. ]
[Likewise, Bakugou pulls back, but doesn't get very far with Midoriya's hand fisted in his shirt. The half-lidded eyes lift from Midoriya's mouth to Midoriya's eyes, almost searching again, and he doesn't say anything for a moment or two.]

[ He can't treat this how he would with anyone else. With other people he could talk about it, he could ask them why they wanted to kiss him, and figure out what the hell was going on. With Bakugou, it's the same as fighting him. He just...does things and it's everything that Midoriya can do to act as well as react. They're too close; he can't read his movements and he doesn't have a baseline for this. Bakugou grabs him by the face and Midoriya privately thinks that the resulting expression probably isn't super attractive but Bakugou doesn't seem upset.
He's giving Midoriya that same examining look from before, the one that Midoriya doesn't know what to do with, what it means, how to respond. There seems to be a whole hell of a lot of that lately.
But, it's Bakugou and somehow, he has the ability to drag everything out of Midoriya even when he doesn't know how to bring it out of himself. This isn't a competition, except it is, kind of and he refuses to let Bakugou (or himself) down. He doesn't have a ton of experience with kissing, though, for all that he has kissed people; everything else he can extrapolate from there. One hand stays firmly fisted in his shirt to keep Bakugou from running, but the other tangles into the wild mess of blonde hair, blunt nails scratching over his scalp lightly. He goes about kissing the same way he does everything: trying it til it doesn't work and then figuring out how to fix it from there.
The angle needs adjusted, so he does, and his lips part despite the worry about popcorn and fizzy water. Their bodies are still awkwardly apart so Midoriya hooks a foot around one of Bakugou's after leaning back to brace against the wall and tugs him in firmly until they're pressed close and then kisses him within an inch of his life. ]
[Without hesitation, Bakugou moves under the direction and fits into the space against Midoriya's front. The other hand comes away from the wall; he curls both hands around Midoriya's jaws and neck to keep the other boy from fleeing or moving, and he kisses like there won't be any need for breathing. Popcorn, fizzy water. Doesn't matter.
There's one mouth, and it's his right now, and he'll take it.
It is a competition. In essence. Or maybe it started as one, and the longer he kisses, the less it becomes a challenge and the more it becomes something he's wanting to do rather than needing to do.
Whatever the case, it fuels him, as is typical. It's almost as if he thinks he has to consume Midoriya's face, to prove his kiss is more fierce, strong. Or maybe that his desire is somehow greater; he had initiated it, right?
Right. So now what is left is to show Midoriya the reason he had kissed wasn't for nothing.]
[ Ridiculously, he still expects there to be a fight about this; maybe he'll move wrong or kiss wrong and Bakugou's going to want to correct him. There's not; there's nothing but the warm line of his body pressed close and rough hands fitting to his jaw, his throat.
It sends an entirely inappropriate zing of heat through him the same way watching Bakugou wipe blood off his face did earlier. There's no threat behind the pressure of his hands but there's a part of Midoriya that likes it, likes the danger of it even if he would never voice that. More than that: Midoriya wants this to be good. He's thought about kissing Bakugou countless times but it'd always been safe to wonder about because until recently he was pretty sure Bakugou would never even consider it.
Well, he's been wrong about worse stuff. Midoriya draws back for a breath and drags his teeth over Bakugou's bottom lip gently, running his hand down from where it's threaded in his hair, over the nape of his neck, stroking the broad line of his shoulder. ]

It is a competition. In essence. Or maybe it started as one, and the longer he kisses, the less it becomes a challenge and the more it becomes something he's wanting to do rather than needing to do.
Whatever the case, it fuels him, as is typical. It's almost as if he thinks he has to consume Midoriya's face, to prove his kiss is more fierce, strong. Or maybe that his desire is somehow greater; he had initiated it, right?
Right. So now what is left is to show Midoriya the reason he had kissed wasn't for nothing.]

There's no threat behind the pressure of his hands but there's a part of Midoriya that likes it, likes the danger of it even if he would never voice that. More than that: Midoriya wants this to be good. He's thought about kissing Bakugou countless times but it'd always been safe to wonder about because until recently he was pretty sure Bakugou would never even consider it.
Well, he's been wrong about worse stuff. Midoriya draws back for a breath and drags his teeth over Bakugou's bottom lip gently, running his hand down from where it's threaded in his hair, over the nape of his neck, stroking the broad line of his shoulder. ]
