[Shouto gives him a bland look. He's in the hospital? Of course the doctors and nurses are doing their jobs. At least his was a clean break and not a complete shattering of every bone in his leg.]

[ Being bedridden sucks. Fiddling with the drawstrings of his hoodie, Midoriya gingerly shifts on the bed, careful not to sit on his arm on accident. ]
[ This time, the quiet laugh is more of a hum and Midoriya adjusts himself on the bed one more time to plant a hand on the railing to steady himself, his other covered by Todoroki's own. It's a careful balancing act, making sure he doesn't put any weight on Todoroki, but he leans down and presses a lingering kiss against Todoroki's mouth, smiling against it. ]
[ Only his leg is broken, the rest of him is perfectly fine. And maybe it's the painkillers that make him misjudge things, but he tugs Midoriya down, smiling into the kiss and wrapping his arms around him. ]
[ Paranoia's a hell of a thing and the last thing Midoriya wants is to lean on something he shouldn't and hurt him more. Of course, the moment Todoroki's arms go around him, Midoriya shifts, adjusting until he can lean very lightly against him in turn, resting an elbow on the bed to brace just above him. ]
Hospitals are pretty boring. [ Painfully so sometimes. ] I talked to everyone else, though. We'll be stopping by to have lunches here with you, and catch you up on what happened in the morning. And I'll come by for dinner, too.
[ Inhaling air, his cheeks puff up as Todoroki pats at them, wrinkling his nose. ]
I won't, I won't, I promise. Besides, forget any villains. Pretty sure my mom would never forgive me. [ And All Might. And Todoroki. And Uraraka. And-- yeah. ]
[Todoroki's okay. He might be in the hospital and might be injured, but he's going to be okay, and it's only now that the relief seems to settle over Midoriya in full. He's still careful not to put his full weight on Todoroki, but he smiles easier and means it, hiding his cheeks from poking fingers.]
Is there something on my face? [ He prods at Todoroki's face in turn, ducking his own head because it feels ridiculous to get teary over someone being alright. ] Being a pro-hero means being so good we barely ever see each other here. So we'll both do our best to be so good we don't need to.
